BCNT Partner Bob Boyd Named Atlanta Family Law ‘Lawyer of the Year’
Bob Boyd, a partner at Boyd Collar Nolen & Tuggle, LLC, has been named Atlanta Family Law “Lawyer of the Year” in the 2013 edition of Best Lawyers, the oldest and most respected lawyer rating publication in the U.S.

Boyd was selected as “Lawyer of the Year” by his peers. Receiving this designation reflects the high level of respect Boyd has earned among other Atlanta family lawyers for his legal acumen, professionalism and integrity. Practicing exclusively in family law for 25 years, Boyd has been highlighted under family law in Best Lawyers since 2001. He also has been selected by Atlanta Magazine as one of the “Best Lawyers in Atlanta”, is one of Georgia’s “Super Lawyers”, honored as one of Georgia’s “Top 100 Super Lawyers” and recognized in Georgia Trend as one of the state’s “Legal Elite.” He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
A 1973 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Boyd served in the Army for seven years as an infantry officer prior to attending law school. He graduated from the West Virginia University College of Law in 1983, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the West Virginia Law Review.
Boyd is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and its Family Law Section, as well as the West Virginia State Bar.
