Connell among Georgia Trend magazine’s annual list of “40 Under 40: Georgia’s Best & Brightest” honorees. Connell’s practice includes more than 11 years of experience in family law matters, including counseling clients involved in divorce, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, custody and post-divorce issues.

She was recently appointed by Gov. Nathan Deal to the Georgia Commission on Child Support. She has served on the State of Georgia’s Electronic Child Support Worksheet Task Force, working with fellow practitioners and judges to improve Georgia’s Child Support Calculator. Connell holds leadership roles with the State Bar of Georgia’s Family Law Section Executive Committee and the Charles Longstreet Weltner Family Law Inn of Court, and she is the previous chair of the State Bar of Georgia’s Young Lawyers Division Family Law Committee.

Connell is a frequent author and speaker on family law matters. She also provides pro bono legal services, serving as a guardian ad litem to children involved in contested custody battles.

Connell earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees from Auburn University, and her law degree from Mercer University.
