Boyd Collar Nolen & Tuggle Wraps Up an Exciting Year of Growth
2017 has been an eventful year for Boyd Collar Nolen & Tuggle with exciting additions to our family law practice.
In January, we opened a new office in Gwinnett County. Boyd Collar Nolen & Tuggleis the first full-service family law firm in Gwinnett and is equipped to handle any legal issue, including complex litigation and private courtroom services, involving individuals and families.
We also launched our new website and Family Law Blog to help our clients and friends navigate family law matters.
New Faces
We’ve expanded our team, as well. In his first full year at Boyd Collar Nolen & Tuggle, Michael Hodes has become a key part of our practice with nearly a decade of experience handling high-profile and high net worth, complex divorce litigation. He is also familiar with the unique legal needs of same-sex couples and the best litigation strategies to address those needs.
In addition to Michael, we are pleased to welcome associates Alexis Garcia and Jordan Whitaker to the firm.

- Cindy Wright has been recognized as a 2017 Trailblazer in Divorce by The National Law Journal. Cindy was recognized in the May issue of the national legal publication for her outstanding work with our firm’s Private Courtroom She established this innovative concept for us in 2014, and our clients’ ability to have access to her is extremely important as we seek to solve complex and stressful matters efficiently and privately.
- Best Lawyers in America has recognized Bob Boyd, John Collar, Richard Nolen, Jonathan Tuggle and Cindy Wright in its 2018 guide as leading family lawyers. Georgia Super Lawyers recognized Bob Boyd, John Collar, Richard Nolen, Jonathan Tuggle, and Katie Kiihnl Leonard and were named as Rising Stars for the year. Additionally, Bob is recognized among the Top 10 List of all Georgia Super Lawyers, and Richard and Jonathan are among the Top 100.
- Lastly, U.S. News & World Report, in connection with Best Lawyers, named Boyd Collar Nolen & Tuggle as the 2018 top family law firm in Atlanta for the sixth consecutive year.
