AMY MOLLENGARDEN NAMED FELLOW OF AMERICAN ACADEMY OF MATRIMONIAL LAWYERS

Amy Saul Mollengarden, a partner at Boyd Collar Nolen Tuggle & Roddenbery, has been named a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), the preeminent organization for family law practitioners. Mollengarden’s selection makes Boyd Collar Nolen Tuggle & Roddenbery the only firm in Georgia with five AAML Fellows.

AAML Fellows are selected based on their ability to demonstrate substantial involvement in matrimonial and family law, as well their efforts to encourage the study, improve the practice and elevate the standards of matrimonial and family law. They are recognized as highly skilled negotiators and litigators with the highest levels of knowledge, skill and integrity. A rigorous selection process includes criteria such as continuing education, involvement in professional organizations and legal competency. The process also includes interviews, examinations and professional and judicial evaluations.

Mollengarden’s practice covers all types of family law matters with a focus on complex divorce and custody litigation. She also handles legitimation, paternity, child support, contempt, modification and stepparent adoption actions. She has been included in The Best Lawyers in America® for  Family Law (2023) and named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers (2020-2023).

There are less than 1,500 lawyers who have earned the distinction of AAML Fellowship, and each is a member of one of AAML’s 33 state-wide chapters. The Academy’s Fellows work diligently to continually raise the standard for the matrimony bar.

Mollengarden is a graduate of the University of Texas, Austin, and earned her law degree at the Georgia State University School of Law. She is a frequent contributor to several professional publications and is active in many of Atlanta’s Jewish civic organizations.
